OIT hosts several events and trainings throughout the year, such as the Faculty Technology Workshop series and the Cyber Fair. While some of these events might be of interest to certain groups on campus, many of them are open to the entire SMU community.
Cyber Fair
Occurring in October during Cybersecurity Awareness Month, the Cyber Fair gives you practical tools to spot the tricks, guard your digital “treats,” and stay one step ahead of the scare.
Faculty Technology Workshops
Whether a new faculty member or wanting a refresher, these sessions hosted before the start of the term are all you need to hit the ground running and make your courses the best they can be.
